Welcome to the
James E. Cary Cancer Center
2012 Annual Review
The James E. Cary Cancer is a service of Hannibal Regional Hospital and the Hannibal Clinic. We work together to bring the most current treatments available to our community and to provide the highest level of care and compassion. We provide chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy and biotherapy. Additionally, we are committed to providing information and education to our community.
We’ve been providing cancer care in one location since March 2003. Initially named The Cancer Center, we are proof of organizations working together for the greater good. Hannibal Clinic had been providing contracted infusion/chemotherapy services for several years but patients were being sent to St. Louis or Columbia for radiation therapy. After months of planning between the Hannibal Clinic and Hannibal Regional Hospital, our center was constructed. In 2005, the name changed to the James E. Cary Cancer Center in honor of a local champion for cancer care in our community.
Quite simply, we are here for you. This is your cancer center.
