The James E. Cary Cancer Center-sponsored YOUNG ADULT CANCER SURVIVOR GROUP will be meeting on Tuesday February 23rd, 2010 from 5:30-7:00pm at Fiddlestiks in Hannibal, MO. This is the only area group offering support and discussion specifically related to needs of young adults affected cancer. Food and fun will be provided.
 
The YOUNG ADULT CANCER SURVIVOR GROUP offers a forum for young cancer survivors, family and friends to share information, gain knowledge and get support. It is open to all young adults affected by a cancer diagnosis, regardless of where treatment is received or which stage of the disease process the patient may be in.
 
The target audience for this group will be young adults; newly diagnosed, currently receiving treatment, or post treatment, as well as young adults who are survivors of childhood cancers. The group meets monthly on the fourth Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30pm at Fiddlestiks.
