Medical Oncology Nursing

Chemotherapy Nurses are responsible for the delivery of all medications ordered by the medical oncologist. The chemotherapy nurses primarily work with intravenous (IV) medications and injectable medications. Chemotherapy nurses closely monitor you during treatments and provide invaluable education on the medications you are receiving. At the James E. Cary Cancer Center, the chemotherapy nurses are:

Lab

With the exception of port-a-caths, all blood draws for testing are completed by our long-term phlebotomist, Tonia Fisher. Our goal at the James E. Cary Cancer Center is to "stick you" as little as possible. Tonia’s a pro!
